QC Engineer – PCBA & Electronics Assembly (EMS)

Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

• Inspect incoming components and materials against BOM, approved part numbers, datasheets, and customer specs
• Verify packaging, date codes, lot numbers, MSL and ESD handling, and flag suspect or counterfeit parts
• Raise rejections and coordinate with procurement and vendors

Component Issuance Verification

• Verify components issued to the line against the BOM and work order (part number, quantity, polarity, value, approved alternates)
• Ensure kitting accuracy and traceability before production starts

Process QA Setup

• Create the QC plan for each new product: inspection checklists, critical-to-quality points, sampling plans, and acceptance criteria
• Prepare work instructions and visual inspection standards for operators
• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) for new builds and engineering changes

In-Process & PCBA Inspection

• Inspect PCBAs post-SMT, post-reflow, and post-THT/wave/hand soldering per IPC-A-610
• Identify defects such as bridging, insufficient solder, tombstoning, misalignment, wrong or reversed parts, voids, and lifted leads
• Review AOI results and coordinate with the SMT team on recurring defects
• Perform in-process and final inspection for box build and assembly

Documentation & Problem Solving

• Maintain QC records: IQC reports, FAI reports, in-process inspection logs, defect logs, and NCRs
• Track yields and defect trends; drive root cause analysis (5-Why, fishbone) and CAPA
• Support customer audits, quality reports, and returns analysis

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
