QC Engineer (Precast Concrete)

About the role

Responsible for production quality inspection according to project specification and technical requirements, including checking dimensions, type, quantity and quality of moulds and materials. Verify mould condition before rebar installation and ensure quality checks before product delivery of finished and outgoing goods.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct production quality inspection according to project specification and technical requirement
• Check dimension, type, quantity and quality for incoming mould and materials
• Verify mould condition before proceeding with rebar installation
• Ensure quality check before product delivery including finished goods and outgoing goods
• Assist production planning and attend to quality issues with production team
• Ensure inspection and testing plan and ready-mix concrete compliance to SSEN 206
• Ensure activities, procedures, documentations and records are implemented as per Quality Management System ISO 9001
• Report all non-compliance and quality matters to Factory Manager and verify reworks per approved procedure
• Prepare conditional acceptance and first concreting drawing, report casting and filling system for the project
• Ensure all quality improvement programs are implemented effectively and prepare quality reports

About you

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of QC experience in precast concrete manufacturing plant
• Experienced in audit requirements for ISO 9001, RMC-COC SS EN 206, Precast Accreditation Scheme (PAS) and HDB
• Able to understand precast products technical drawing
• Good communication, interpersonal and interpretation skills
