About the role

Lead quality control activities for piping and mechanical systems across all project phases - procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning. Develop and implement QC procedures, ensure compliance with industry codes, and support vendor/source inspections to maintain high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all documents related to quality control in compliance with the contract agreement
• Prepare various procedures related to Quality Control work
• Prepare and submit RFIs (Request for Inspection)
• Perform quality control of on-site construction works for the project
• Prepare RFQ packages (Procurement/Tender lists) for purchasing/contracting within the project according to the contract terms and conditions
• Prepare and report document progress according to the specified schedule
• Prepare KPI reports related to quality control
• Compile and submit documents related to quality control records (QC Reports) to the Document Control department
• Prepare, review, and certify quality-related construction cost data to support the marketing department's bidding proposals

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 1-2 years of QC experience in piping & mechanical for EPC projects, ideally in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, or Power sectors
• Deep knowledge of mechanical/piping codes
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, datasheets
• Strong in inspection tools usage, document control, and calibration management
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork
• Experience working with piping systems, quality control processes, or in related industries (e.g., oil and gas, petrochemical) is essential
• Certifications specifically focused on piping inspection are often required
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various teams
