Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible QC Inspector to join our lubricant oil manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished lubricant products to ensure they meet company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and finished lubricant products.
• Collect lubricant oil samples for quality testing and analysis.
• Perform routine quality checks, including appearance, colour, viscosity, and other relevant specifications.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Record inspection results and prepare quality control reports.
• Identify, report, and follow up on quality issues or non-conforming products.
• Ensure proper labelling, sampling, and storage of samples.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of laboratory equipment.
• Follow company quality procedures, workplace safety requirements, and laboratory practices.
• Assist with other quality control duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent; a certificate or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
• Experience in quality control, laboratory testing, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience in lubricant oil, petroleum, chemical, or related industries is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of quality inspection procedures and laboratory equipment.
• Computer literacy and basic documentation skills.
• Meticulous, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
