QC Inspector

Job Summary

The QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting and monitoring product quality throughout the production process to ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming material, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Perform dimensional measurements and visual inspections using appropriate measuring instruments.
• Identify, record, and report defective products, non-conformities, and quality issues.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and relevant documentation.
• Work closely with the Production Department to resolve quality issues and prevent recurring defects.
• Ensure rejected or defective products are properly identified, segregated, and controlled.
• Assist in investigating the root causes of quality problems and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company procedures and quality requirements.
• Ensure inspection tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Follow company safety rules, housekeeping practices, and quality control procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, or a related field.
• Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection methods.
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and measuring gauges.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and product specifications is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Basic computer skills for preparing inspection reports and maintaining records.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
