Job Summary

We are looking for a QC Inspector & Document Controller to join our Quality Control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out incoming, in-process and outgoing inspections, conducting quality tests, recording inspection results and maintaining proper quality documentation and records.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming inspections for PVC materials and components according to inspection requirements and quality standards.
• Perform daily inspections for infill, in-process production and gluing processes.
• Carry out visual and dimensional inspections using vernier calipers, micrometers, measuring tapes and other measuring instruments.
• Ensure product measurements and tolerances comply with approved specifications and drawings.
• Conduct incoming PVC impact and tensile tests.
• Perform incoming component inspections and functional verification.
• Carry out inspection and testing for driveshafts and bearing housings.
• Conduct sampling inspections for new product models during production.
• Perform outgoing inspections, including checking product labels and QC Pass stickers before shipment.
• Ensure finished products are in good condition before loading and delivery.
• Record inspection findings and test results accurately in the computerized quality system.
• Identify and report defective or non-conforming materials and products.
• Maintain accurate records of quality issues, NCRs and corrective actions.
• Ensure proper filing, organization and document control of all QC records.
• Maintain controlled copies of inspection forms, specifications, drawings, procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure the latest approved revision of quality documents is used.
• Assist in preparing quality documents and records for ISO 9001 audits.
• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Follow up on corrective actions and quality-related issues.
• Perform other QC and document-control duties assigned by the QC Supervisor / Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma / Certificate in Quality Control, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in QC/QA inspection, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in PVC, FRP, plastics, mechanical components or similar manufacturing industries is an advantage.
• Familiar with incoming, in-process and final/outgoing inspection.
• Able to use vernier caliper, micrometer and measuring tape.
• Able to read basic technical drawings and understand measurements/tolerances.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality documentation.
• Familiar with NCR and corrective action procedures.
• Computer literate, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
