QC Laboratory Specialist - Seasonal

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Pay: $33.85-$43.79/hour depending on shift and experience

We are seeking QC Laboratory Specialists for a seasonal opportunity performing laboratory testing in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Shifts and Pay

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, Monday-Friday $33.85-$38.08/hour
• Alternate 1st Shift: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday $33.85-$38.08/hour
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM-10:30 PM, Monday-Friday $37.24-$41.89/hour
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM-6:30 AM, Monday-Friday, starting Sunday night $38.93-$43.79/hour

2nd shift availability may be limited. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine testing of environmental samples, raw materials, and in-process samples.
• Execute laboratory testing according to established SOPs.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment according to procedures.
• Review test data for compliance with specifications and report abnormalities.
• Complete accurate documentation, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, digital systems, and inventory records.
• Execute validation protocols and laboratory test plans.
• Report test results and findings to management.
• Prepare documentation for regulatory agency review.
• Apply GMP and GLP principles in daily laboratory activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, procedures, and operating instructions.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related computer systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

• Previous GxP experience highly desirable.
• Previous pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated laboratory experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to work the assigned shift and Monday-Friday schedule.
• Minimum 20/20 vision required.
• Prescription glasses may be worn during the vision examination.

Work Location: Onsite in Philadelphia, PA
