QC Lab Technician

LAB QC TECHNICIAN

Location: Brackenfell, Cape Town
Industry: Pipe Manufacturing

A pipe manufacturing company based in Brackenfell, Cape Town, is seeking an experienced and motivated Lab QC Technician to join our team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in a laboratory and/or quality control environment is essential.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures, product testing, and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing and able to work rotational shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality control tests and inspections on manufactured products.
• Ensure products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Record and maintain accurate test results and quality documentation.
• Identify and report non-conforming products.
• Assist with investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
