QC Laboratory Assitant

About the role

You will play a key role in developing the Quality Control laboratory of our new manufacturing site in Thailand. Working closely with Production, Corporate Quality Control and Procurement, you will ensure that raw materials and finished products meet the company's quality standards while contributing to the successful implementation of quality systems, laboratory operations, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to structure the QC function of a growing industrial organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Quality Control activities for raw materials and finished products in accordance with corporate analytique methods and procedures
• Perform and interpret analytical tests on raw materials and finished products
• Identify compounds and evaluate new raw materials entering the manufacturing process
• Manage internal non-conformities and support quality investigations and corrective actions
• Issue Certificates of Analysis and quality control documentation
• Approve and release raw materials and finished products according to company procedures
• Manage laboratory consumables, chemicals, standards, and spare-part inventories
• Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, verification, troubleshooting, and metrology programs
• Coordinate external laboratories, technical service providers, and equipment suppliers
• Develop and improve laboratory procedures while ensuring compliance with corporate quality standards

About you

• Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or equivalent qualification in Chemistry or a related scientific field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Control within the fragrance industry
• Strong knowledge of fragrance raw materials and quality control methods
• Experience working with analytical laboratory equipment, calibration, and metrology requirements
• Experience managing non-conformities, laboratory investigations, and quality documentation
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with international teams
• Leadership potential with experience supporting or managing laboratory personnel
• Good working level of English required for daily communication with corporate teams, suppliers, and service providers
