QC Manager

About the role

Modernform Group Public Company Limited is seeking an experienced QC Manager to join our quality assurance and control team. This is a full-time position based in Bangpli, Samut Prakan, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our product quality standards across our manufacturing and transport operations. As QC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organisation. This position is integral to our commitment to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive quality control policies, procedures, and standards across all manufacturing and transport operations
• Lead and supervise the QC team, providing coaching, training, and performance management to ensure excellence in quality assurance practices
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and testing of products and processes to verify compliance with established quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) to resolve non-conformances
• Monitor and analyse quality metrics, KPIs, and data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated throughout the supply chain
• Maintain detailed quality documentation, records, and reports for management review and regulatory compliance
• Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards, certifications, and legal requirements
• Communicate quality performance to senior management and develop strategies for quality enhancement
• Manage supplier quality assessments and work with external partners to maintain consistent quality standards

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in quality control or quality assurance within manufacturing or transport industries
• Proven track record of managing QC teams and leading quality improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or similar), and regulatory compliance requirements
• Proficiency in quality control tools and methodologies such as statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or lean manufacturing principles
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal capabilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools
• Preferred experience in the furniture manufacturing or related industries
