QC Manager

Artisan Gourmet Foodstuff Trading LLC | Dubai, UAE

We are looking for an experienced QC Manager to lead quality control activities across our foodstuff, bakery, production, warehouse, and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QC team and daily quality control activities.
• Monitor raw materials, packaging materials, production processes, and finished products.
• Ensure products meet company quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain QC procedures, specifications, inspection checklists, and records.
• Conduct inspections, sampling, testing, and verification activities.
• Monitor GMP, hygiene, HACCP, and food safety practices.
• Handle non-conformities, customer complaints, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Suppliers on quality issues.
• Maintain product specifications, COAs, supplier documents, and quality records.
• Support internal, customer, supplier, and regulatory audits.
• Monitor calibration, pest control, cleaning, and environmental monitoring programs.
• Prepare quality reports and provide recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in QC/QA within food manufacturing, bakery, FMCG, or foodstuff operations.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety, and quality management systems.
• Experience managing QC teams and handling audits/non-conformities.
• Good knowledge of UAE food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Relevant food safety/quality certifications are an advantage.
