QC Manager

We are looking for an experienced QC Manager to lead the Quality Control team and oversee daily quality monitoring in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitor and supervise online QC systems and daily production data entry.
• Ensure QC records and reports, including batch, quality, temperature, moisture and metal detection, are accurate and up to date.
• Perform real-time monitoring of production quality through online dashboards or QC software.
• Identify and handle non-conformances and deviations, including recording corrective actions.
• Support product trials and first-batch evaluations using appropriate QC tools.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, Halal, MeSTI and ISO requirements.
• Maintain proper online QC documentation and records for internal and external audits.
• Train QC staff and production operators on QC systems, SOPs and reporting procedures.
• Lead and manage the QC team, including manpower allocation across shifts.
• Ensure smooth and effective QC operations throughout the production process.
• Work closely with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues and maintain product standards.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QC experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience in biscuits, bakery or similar food manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Experience with digital QC systems, online production monitoring or QC software is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Halal and MeSTI.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lead a QC team and manage manpower across different shifts.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
• Comfortable working with online systems and production data.
