Our client is a global provider of electronic component sourcing and supply chain solutions, serving customers across the electronics, industrial, aerospace, medical, and technology sectors. Due to business growth, they are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead their quality management system and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

Your new role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality management activities, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards while supporting operational excellence across quality, warehouse, and customer-facing functions.
Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and maintain the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring full compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections for electronic components and broker-sourced parts.
• Review technical datasheets and verify component authenticity and compliance.
• Coordinate quality investigations and resolution of customer and supplier quality issues.
• Manage third-party testing reports and maintain quality documentation within ERP and document management systems.
• Lead internal, customer, supplier, and certification audits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance, operational efficiency, and compliance with standards.
• Oversee ESD control programs and ensure adherence to warehouse quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and inspection standards.
• Support commercial teams with technical component reviews and cross-reference analysis.
• Monitor supplier performance and vendor quality metrics.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the QC team while establishing KPIs and performance objectives.
• Partner with senior management to align quality initiatives with overall business strategy.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the electronics, semiconductor, EMS, or component distribution industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, quality systems, and audit management.
• Hands-on experience in electronic component inspection, counterfeit avoidance, and quality verification processes.
• Familiarity with ESD controls, incoming quality inspections, and component testing methodologies.
• Experience using ERP systems, with NetSuite knowledge being advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven people management experience with the ability to lead and develop teams.
• Fluent English communication skills; Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an advantage.
