QC Officer

Job Summary
QC Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet specific standards set by organizations. Their responsibilities involve analyzing measurements, conducting tests, and monitoring the production phase to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections in QC areas: Incoming, In-Process, and Outgoing.
• Inspect materials (rPET resin, regrind, packaging materials) and production processes (Mixer, Extruder, Thermoforming, and Printing).
• Conduct quality checks and testing according to SOP and quality standards.
• Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformities and quality issues.
• Monitor and inspect the mixing process to ensure compliance with operational procedures.
• Report and escalate quality issues related to materials or products to the QC Supervisor/Manager.
• Support investigations of serious quality and food safety issues.
• Follow up on customer complaints and quality issues.
• Prepare daily QC reports and documentation.
• Analysis and Apply product status labeling (QC PASS/HOLD/REJECT).
• Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelors degree in Science, or Engineering (Physics, Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical) or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in thermoforming, rPET, or food packaging industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read technical specifications and develop of SOP/WI.
• Expert in Data Analysis (Advance Micorosoft Excel: Pivot Table, Lookup, Dashboard; Slicer).
• Experience with Data Visualization & Reporting: Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, Microsoft Forms / Power Apps, SPSS/Minitab, Python, SQL (is an advantage)
• Basic communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Willing to work in shifts.
• Experience with International Laboratory Testing, inspection methods, and measurement tools (is an advantage).
