QC Officer

Position Summary:

• Responsible for ensuring inspection of all incoming materials, semi-finished and finished products are conforming to specification requirements. Ensure that laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

• To assist and control TCO documents and liaise with managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the QA system is functioning properly.

• Support SCC Operations by providing total cost competitiveness, deliveries excellence as well as flexible, but effective, deliveries.

• Operations platform for Growth. SCC Operations also aim to operate fully in compliance with corp. core value, as best-in-class at all sites.

• Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff, identifying relevant quality-related training needs, collaborating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters

• Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary, supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks, writing technical and management system reports

• Monitoring performance through gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.

• Preparing clear explanatory documents such as customers' charters.

• Master document controller for ISO requirement.

• QC database management.

• Master batch card controller.

• Laise with R&D and PM for performance QC matter as well as supporting plant trial, such as new formulation, QC matters.

• Handling all aspects of QC activities, handling customers’ complaints and lab equipment calibration.

• Backup for Lab Assistants for routine QC test.

• Identification and assess on environment aspect.

• Identification and assessment on hazard and risk assessment.

• Operate in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Management System

Skills and Abilities

·       A minimum of 1-year experience in laboratory of chemical industries.

• High motivation and sales skills as well as responsiveness on the assigned tasks
• Able to work independently with a minimum supervisory.

Qualifications

• B. Sc degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
• Excellent presentation, strong interpersonal skills, getting results, analysis skills and hands-on
• Computer literacy and good command of English both of written and spoken skills.
