About the role

This role involves overseeing quality standards and processes in a manufacturing environment, managing quality control teams, and ensuring products meet specified requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Control standards in processes: inspect product quality during production and finished products to ensure they meet specified specifications
• Manage complaints and analyse problems: review customer complaints, analyse root causes, and establish corrective and preventive measures (CAPA) to prevent recurring issues
• Team management: schedule work, oversee quality control (QC) inspectors in the production line, assess work performance, and provide skills training
• Calibration and equipment maintenance: oversee calibration of measuring instruments to ensure they are in working condition and accurate
• Internal and external quality inspections: serve as the primary liaison for quality system audits (Audit) from external organisations and customers
