QC Supervisor

About the role

This role involves conducting inspections of manufactured and repaired products, providing supervision and oversight of Quality Control Inspectors, and ensuring inspections are completed accurately and on time. The role includes monitoring QC Inspector responsibilities for maintaining measurement tools, test equipment, and working gauges in optimal condition, as well as supporting the Quality Assurance Manager in implementing and maintaining the company's Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on manufactured and repaired products
• Provide supervision and oversight of Quality Control Inspectors in performing their duties
• Oversee QC Inspectors in completing product inspection work accurately, on time, and with attention to detail
• Monitor QC Inspector tasks in maintaining and preserving the condition of measurement tools, test equipment, and working gauges
• Support Quality Assurance Manager in implementing and maintaining the company's Quality Management System

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in oil and gas / petroleum sector
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Able to work collaboratively in a team and take responsibility
• High level of attention to detail
• Preferred: Experience with Quality Management System (ISO 9001 and API Q1) and API Product knowledge (6A, 5CT, 7-1)
