QC Team Leader

MediWound is seeking a QC Team Leader to join our Quality Control department at our site in Yavne. Reporting to the QC Director, the Team Leader will manage the laboratory team, plan and oversee testing activities, and ensure reliable, accurate, and timely results in compliance with GMP requirements.

The role combines scientific expertise with team leadership and includes responsibility for reviewing and approving laboratory results, investigating deviations and out-of-specification results, and overseeing CAPA and change control activities. The Team Leader will also support regulatory inspections and internal audits, oversee staff training and qualification, and ensure the proper operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

What will you do?

• Work under GMP requirements.
• Responsible for preparing the team work plan.
• Responsible for execution of the team testing methods.
• Contact outsources labs for tests results.
• Preparation of SOPs, protocols and reports.
• Responsible for approval and reporting on the team results.
• Responsible for the team’s CAPA’s and change requests.
• Represent the team at all regulatory inspections and on internal audits.
• Investigations of team deviations and out-of-specification results.
• Trending the team laboratory results data.
• Overseeing the team personnel training and qualification program (staff certification and re-qualification).
• Verify the adequate calibration, maintenance and operation of the team equipment and instruments.
• Maintaining supply of standard reagents and solutions.

What should you have?

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in chemistry/Biochemistry.
• Candidate should have at least 5 years hands-on experience in QC lab within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Management skills.

• Independent and highly motivated.
• Excellent communications skills.
• To be able to work under pressure to tight timelines.
• Attention to details and well-organized person.
• Reading and writing English in high level.
