QC Technician

The company provides UPS systems and Industrial Automatic Voltage Regulators, catering to the needs of businesses, education institutions, and commercial establishments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming and outgoing quality inspections and functional testing of products, including UPS systems, batteries, cabinets, PDUs and accessories.
• Implement and maintain quality procedures, inspection records, testing protocols, and documentation in accordance with company requirements and relevant industry standards.
• Support SIRIM product certification, SGS ISO 9001 certification, non-conformance management, customer complaint handling and corrective actions.
• Manage warranty claims, including troubleshooting, eligibility verification, supplier coordination, repair or replacement arrangements, and claim follow-ups.
• Maintain warranty stock and spare parts inventory, conduct monthly stock counts and ensure accurate inventory records and stock transfers.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, including product troubleshooting, minor modifications and technical adjustments.
• Perform UPS and accessory modifications, including cable assembly and external battery module (EBM) battery assembly.
• Assist field technicians with onsite installation, testing, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance at customer locations when required.
• Prepare monthly reports on quality issues, warranty claims, spare parts inventory, recurring failures and service turnaround time.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, warranty claims, customer complaints, service activities and technical resolutions.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Familiar with QC inspection, testing and documentation.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Well verse in other language is an added advantage
• Applicants must be willing to work in Puchong
