QHSE Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Assisting Engineering Manager, Project Manager and Senior Engineers of the company on Engineering, Project & administrative matters, including writing, typing letters and reports.
2. Promote, update, and maintain the Company’s Quality, HSE and Anti-Bribery Management Systems (QMS, HSE, ABMS) i.e. ISO 90001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 37001 in the organization.
3. Conduct ISO annual activities; internal audit, external audit and management review.
4. Conduct and coordinate regular QHSE inspection and audits.
5. To plan, implement, coordinate and control of HSE project implementation during emergency (fire, incident / accident etc.), and assist in establishing and maintaining Emergency Response Team.
6. Implement and co-ordinate QHSE Management Committees.
7. Maintaining all QHSE & ABMS documentation, Tracking and Statistics with maximum compliance with ISO standard and other requirements.
8. To assist and provide guideline on the implementation of ISO system with minimum NCR.
9. Assist, conduct and monitor HSE Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment processes and recommend appropriate control.
10. Assist to establish, monitor, analyze and maintain database of HSE performance including incidents, hazard register, legal register, and produce regular reports.
11. Assist to conduct HSE Induction and awareness program.

REQUIREMENTS :

1. Must possess at least a Bachelor/s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, and Professional Degree preferably in Engineering.
2. Good knowledge of ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), and ISO 37001 (Anti-Bribery Management System).
3. Minimum 2 years’ experience in oil & gas industry (HSE & QC related positions). Offshore experience an added advantage.
4. Experience in implementing, maintaining, and improving Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
5. Knowledge of Malaysian HSE legislation and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, FMA, DOSH, DOE, CIDB where applicable).
6. Able to operate Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (fluency in English is essential).
8. Matured, innovative, self-motivated and confident.
9. Willing to travel to project sites and conduct site inspections when required.
