QMHP-CS-BILINGUAL

We are seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in behavioral health or human services and a strong commitment to supporting children and families in their everyday environments. Bilingual applicants (English/Spanish) are strongly preferred to better serve our diverse client population.

Education

Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in one of the following or a related field:

• Human Services
• Social Work
• Mental Health Counseling
• Psychology
• Sociology
• Early Childhood Education
• Special Education
• Or a closely related field

Requirements

• CANS/ANSA Certification
• At least 1 year of prior experience working in the behavioral health or closely related field
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record
• Access to a computer and reliable internet
• Ability to work efficiently, effectively, and independently with minimal daily oversight
• Competent in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and EHR software
• Ability to work from a strengths‑based, trauma‑informed, and culturally competent perspective
• Willingness to travel to clients in the school, home, and community
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain all client documentation in the EHR and write progress notes in line with Texas Administrative Code requirements
• Enter data in a clear, accurate, and timely manner (daily session notes completed within 24 hours after session)
• Meet face‑to‑face with clients in their home, school, and community to provide support services
• Reassess the needs of the child and family every 60 days with the team and update the service plan to reflect progress or lack of progress
• Follow established service plans and provide supportive, skills‑based, and resource‑focused services (no clinical diagnosis or formal evaluations)
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA requirements

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
