QMS Assistant Manager

About the role

Develop and sustain the Quality Management System in line with the required industry, accreditation requirements and business requirements across the organisation through existing and new procedures. Appointed Quality Management Representative for AF Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Review and recommend execution of quality related agreements with customer, supplier or third parties
• Manage the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised against certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified
• Lead the team to achieve quality management system targets for customers and business goals
• Manage all external registration requirements to ensure they are met
• Ensure ongoing compliance with the Quality Management System (ISO13485)
• Liaise with external bodies on all matters relating to registration
• Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies
• Train others in all aspects of the quality system and application of procedures
• Undertake regular internal and process audits of the QMS

About you

• 5 to 10 years experience in quality (quality system and product quality)
• Negotiating and influencing skills and experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong people skills with proven ability to develop teamwork and achieve results
• Change management
• Experience in project management and governance
• Excellent problem solving skills
• BSc in Engineering or related fields
