QMS Specialist, APAC

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced QMS Specialist, APAC to lead and continuously enhance our Quality Management System (QMS) across our APAC manufacturing sites. This role is responsible for driving compliance with ISO 9001 , customer-specific requirements, and internal quality standards while fostering a strong quality culture and supporting operational excellence across the region.

The successful candidate will work closely with site quality teams, operations, and leadership to ensure effective quality system deployment, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives across APAC manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, deploy, and continuously improve the APAC Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with global quality policies, ISO 9001 requirements, and customer expectations.
• Monitor and analyze QMS effectiveness through key quality performance indicators (KPIs).
• Plan, conduct, and lead internal quality system audits across APAC manufacturing sites.
• Coordinate external certification audits, customer audits, and third-party assessments.
• Drive timely closure of audit findings and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct quality system gap assessments and identify opportunities for standardization and continuous improvement.
• Lead regional quality reviews and support management review processes.
• Roll out global and regional quality standards, tools, best practices, and quality initiatives across APAC operations.
• Coach and support site quality teams in the application of quality methodologies, tools, and systems.
• Identify systemic quality risks and drive sustainable corrective actions across multiple sites.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen quality performance throughout the manufacturing and supply chain network.
• Support additional quality initiatives and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or IATF 16949 Auditor certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in quality within automotive, industrial manufacturing, precision engineering, valve manufacturing, or related industries.
• Hands-on experience managing Quality Management Systems and audit programs.
• Experience managing customer audits, certification audits, and supplier or product audits is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across multiple sites, cultures, and functions without direct reporting authority.
• Willingness to travel across APAC as required.
