QS Architectural Engineer

Alkan Trading, Granite, Stone & Natural Marble Company is looking for a qualified candidate for the position of:

QS Architectural Engineer

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation.
• Previous experience in the marble, granite, natural stone, or architectural finishing industry is required.
• Strong experience in Quantity Surveying and Quantity Take-Off.
• Ability to read and analyze Architectural Drawings, Shop Drawings, and BOQ.
• Ability to accurately calculate marble, granite, and natural stone quantities from drawings.
• Experience in calculating square meter areas, linear measurements, number of pieces, dimensions, thicknesses, and waste percentages.
• Prepare and review BOQs and Material Take-Offs.
• Verify quantities against approved drawings and specifications.
• Review drawing revisions and evaluate their impact on quantities and cost.
• Support the preparation and review of cost estimates and quotations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Production, and Procurement Teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP / Odoo systems is preferred.
• Good command of English.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and reporting skills.

Required Experience: Minimum 5 years.
