QS Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost Estimation and Tendering:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for MEP works.
• Quantify materials, labor, and equipment for MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications.

2. Budgeting and Cost Control:

• Managing project budgets and tracking costs against estimates.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and project cost reports.
• Identify and report potential cost overruns or savings opportunities.

3. Measurement and Valuation:

• Perform quantity take-offs from MEP drawings using relevant software.
• Measure and value variations and change orders.
• Assist in preparing interim and final payment applications.

4. Contract Administration:

• Prepare subcontractor agreements and managing payments.
• Monitor compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Resolve any contractual or commercial disputes.

5. Coordination and Documentation:

• Collaborate with design, engineering, and site teams for accurate documentation.
• Maintain records of all project correspondence, drawings, and financial data.
• Prepare and submit regular commercial reports to senior management.

6. Health & Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all work adheres to company and legal health and safety standards.
