QS Engineer

Location: North Caloocan MRT 7 Project
Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor (QS) to manage all financial, contractual, and billing aspects of our construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed within budget while maximizing profitability. You will serve as the primary link between physical site progress and the financial billing cycle, working closely with Project Managers and our Quality Control (QC) teams.

Key Responsibilities & Billing Duties

• Progress Billings: Prepare, submit, and manage monthly interim progress claims and invoices based on actual on-site work and the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Billing Verification: Review, measure, and validate subcontractor payment claims and invoices against physical site progress and signed QC inspection reports.
• Cost Estimation: Conduct detailed material take-offs and cost estimations from architectural and engineering blueprints.
• Variation Orders: Identify, calculate, and negotiate variations or scope changes, ensuring they are accurately priced and integrated into the billing cycle.
• Contract Administration: Assist in preparing tender documents, contract agreements, and evaluating incoming subcontractor bids.
• Financial Reporting: Monitor project cash flow, track expenses against budget baselines, and prepare regular cost-to-complete reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Experience: Atleast 1 year of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Construction Cost Estimator.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas) and estimation software (e.g., CostX, PlanSwift, or Bluebeam).
• Skills: Strong negotiation capabilities, sharp mathematical accuracy, and an excellent understanding of construction contracts.
• Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally to cross-reference billing quantities with site engineers and QC quality approvals.
• Willing to be deploy anywhere

Pay: Php19,000.00 - Php22,000.00 per month
