QS Engineer

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Prepare and review the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for construction projects.
• Calculate quantities of materials, labor, and other construction requirements based on project drawings and specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and budget reports.
• Monitor project costs and track actual expenses against the approved budget.
• Review construction drawings and identify changes that may affect project costs.
• Prepare progress billing, payment claims, and variation orders.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors regarding quantities and project costs.
• Maintain accurate records of cost estimates, material quantities, and project expenses.
• Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• With experience in quantity surveying or construction cost estimation is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiar with BOQ preparation, material take-offs, and cost estimation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant estimating software.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and mathematical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in photovoltaic/solar projects is an advantage.
• Willing to work on-site in Zambales.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
