QSP Manager- Electrical Construction

Position Overview

The QSP Manager supports project teams by integrating Quality, Safety, and Productivity (QSP) into the planning and execution of electrical construction work. This position serves as a key resource for project managers, general foremen, field leadership, and safety professionals, with primary responsibility for developing work procedures, environmental, and safety plans, coordinating project safety requirements, maintaining quality documentation, and supporting effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

QSP Planning & Procedures

· Develop and maintain safety-related work procedures, Health and Safety Plans (HASPs), and other project-specific plans.

· Assist project managers, general foremen, and Safety with lift plans, installation plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and other written procedures required for project execution.

· Partner with project teams to incorporate Quality, Safety, and Productivity considerations into work planning before execution.

Safety and Environmental Coordination & Field Support

· Coordinate onsite safety professionals and associated documentation requirements.

· Conduct regular site visits to review project needs, documentation, and field execution.

· Attend client project kickoffs, safety meetings, and safety calls as required.

· Serve as a resource to field and project leadership when project-specific safety procedures or written plans are needed.

Quality & Documentation Management

· Maintain required project quality documentation and verify records are current, complete, and properly filed.

· Support consistent use of quality documentation across active projects.

· Coordinate with project teams to identify documentation gaps and resolve them before they affect project execution or closeout.

PPE & Safety Equipment

· Manage PPE inventory and other safety equipment required to support project operations.

· Coordinate availability and distribution of appropriate safety equipment to field teams.

New Hire Orientation & Documentation

· Coordinate and conduct new-hire orientations and required project onboarding paperwork.

· Verify required orientation and supporting documentation is completed and maintained appropriately.

What You Bring

· Experience supporting construction safety, quality, or project operations; electrical construction experience strongly preferred.

· Working knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA requirements.

· Experience developing or maintaining work plans, safety procedures, HASPs, or similar project documentation.

· Strong organizational and document-control skills with close attention to detail.

· Ability to work effectively with project managers, general foremen, safety professionals, clients, and field personnel.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate field requirements into clear, practical procedures.

· Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications

· OSHA 30 Construction certification.

· CPR / First Aid / AED certification.

· OSHA 510 / OSHA 500, CHST, ASP, CSP, or similar safety credentials.

· Experience with quality-control documentation, ITPs, lift plans, installation plans, or project-specific safety planning

Pay: $95,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
