QS/QA Engineer

About the role

This role involves reading and interpreting plans, estimating bill of materials for structural and architectural works, and preparing bar cutting lists and bar detailing for construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans correctly, estimate bill of materials of approved plans for construction for structural and architectural works
• Prepare bar cutting list and bar detailing
• Prepare construction schedule or Gantt chart, PERT/CPM, Manpower schedule, Equipment schedule and Material schedule and present to Superior for approval and presentation to Operation Manager for Preconstruction meeting
• Set budgets for Labor, Materials and Equipment for each project and assure control and monitor project budgets to maintain within budget and avoid overshoot and losses on the project
• Monitor project contract schedule to avoid delays and recommend necessary improvement of works productivity
• Update progress accomplishments pictures and recording
• Check and evaluate progress report of subcontractors

About you

• Graduate of Civil Engineering
• At least 3-5 years' experience in construction project management
