About the Role

Our client, an established accountancy practice, is looking for an accountant to join their team, working with a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries. This is a great opportunity to build your career in a supportive practice environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on a portfolio of clients across various industries
• Prepare year-end accounts, corporation tax and income tax returns
• Prepare management accounts, cash flow reports and budgets
• On-site visits to client premises, mainly in South Dublin and the city centre
• Gain exposure to sales, mergers and acquisitions project work
• Support junior team members as you progress
• Report directly to the Practice Manager
• Build strong, long-term client relationships

Experience Required

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
• Practice experience
• Working knowledge of corporation tax and income tax
• Happy to visit client premises when needed
• Organised and able to manage competing deadlines

Desirable

• Some industry experience
• Interest in M&A or advisory work
