We're looking for a skilled and motivated Bakery 2IC to help lead our high-performing Bakery Team. If you're passionate about producing quality bakery products, developing others, and delivering an exceptional customer experience, this could be the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Bakery 2IC, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the department, including:

• Supporting the Bakery Manager with planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily operations
• Producing high-quality bakery products to the highest standards
• Maintaining excellent food safety, health & safety, and presentation standards
• Training, mentoring, and developing team members
• Assisting with production planning, ordering, stock control, and waste reduction
• Helping ensure sales, productivity, and department targets are achieved
• Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive team culture
• Assisting with roster planning and department administration as required

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who has:

• A recognized baking qualification
• Proven experience working in a commercial bakery environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A commitment to quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction
• The ability to lead by example and support the development of others
• A reliable work ethic, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail
• SAP experience (advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided)

Days & Hours

Sun – Mon 4am – 1.30pm

Tue – Thurs 5am – 1.30pm
