QUALIFIED BAKER

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Baker/Pastry Cook to join our dynamic team at Sg bakery in Buderim, QLD 4556. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to contribute to the success of our thriving bakery.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and baking a wide variety of high-quality breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods
• Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all baked products
• Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering of ingredients
• Collaborating with the team to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement
• Providing exceptional customer service and responding to customer inquiries

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in baking or patisserie, such as a Certificate III in Baking or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified bakery or pastry cook in a commercial setting
• Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and food safety regulations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• punctual and reliable, willing to work a 7-day roster, early morning, night shift. Weekend and public holiday is a must
