Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in ERP systems (SAP)
• Record and review journal entries, purchase, sales, and asset transactions

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and analyze Financial Reports for daily decision-making
• Monitor cash flow, fund flow, and working capital requirements
• Ensure correctness of balance sheet and P&L reporting

Taxation & Compliance (India)

• Manage GST compliance, including eligibility of input tax credit (ITC), invoicing, and treatment of special transactions (damaged goods, survey charges, etc.)
• Handle TDS provisions, advance tax, and related accounting entries
• Stay updated with tax regulations under new income tax

Audit & Regulatory Support

• Assist in statutory and internal audits
• Ensure compliance with Ind AS requirements (e.g., security deposits, asset valuation & lease)
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Vendor management and payment processing
• Review of high-value transactions and threshold limits
• Ensure proper reconciliation of ledgers

Process Improvement & Controls

• Identify reporting issues (e.g., fund position discrepancies) and coordinate corrections
• Implement process improvements in accounting workflows (e.g., changes in posting segments, system setups)
• Ensure internal controls over financial transactions
