Job Description Job Summary

We are looking for a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our Statutory Audit team in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for handling statutory audit assignments, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards, and delivering high-quality audit engagements within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete statutory audit assignments for clients across various industries.
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards / Ind AS and statutory requirements.
• Perform audit procedures, including substantive testing, analytical review, and verification of financial records.
• Evaluate internal financial controls (IFC) and identify control gaps and areas for improvement.
• Review audit working papers and ensure proper documentation of audit procedures and conclusions.
• Identify key audit issues and discuss observations with seniors, partners, and client management.
• Prepare and review financial statements, audit reports, and related deliverables.
• Ensure timely completion of audit assignments while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate with client finance teams and other stakeholders for audit requirements and information.
• Guide and supervise audit assistants and article trainees during assignments.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, auditing standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Strong knowledge of Statutory Audit, Accounting Standards, Ind AS, and Auditing Standards.
• Good understanding of financial statements and internal financial controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work within strict deadlines.
• Prior statutory audit experience in a CA firm / professional services firm would be preferred.
