Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented qualified Dispenser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the medication dispensing process, ensuring that patients receive their prescribed medications accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care.

Hours are 16 per week over 2 days, to be worked Monday - Friday

Duties

• Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of medications.
• Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed, including patient information and prescription details.
• Provide excellent patient care by answering queries regarding medications and offering guidance on proper usage.
• Ensure the pharmacy environment is organised, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective medication management.

Requirements

• Relevant dispensing qualification.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care practices is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and healthcare staff.
