Qualified Early Years Educator (Term Time)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. We are a Term Time only setting open 8am to 4.30pm, The role will be mostly be 2 days per week

Duties

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
• Supervise and support children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment in accordance with childcare regulations and best practices
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and well-being
• Organise daily schedules to ensure smooth operation of the nursery or childcare setting
• Assist with administrative tasks related to childcare management, including attendance records and activity planning

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations
• Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are essential
• Ability to organise tasks efficiently whilst maintaining a caring approach towards children
