About the Role

As an Educator at Perfect Start Capalaba, you will:

• Build genuine, trusting relationships with children, families and your team.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment where every child feels known, valued and included.
• Support children to explore, wonder, investigate and learn through play.
• Create meaningful experiences that respond to children’s interests, strengths and ideas.
• Recognise and advocate for children’s voices, choices and individual ways of learning.
• Work alongside your Lead Educator and team to deliver engaging and responsive educational programs.
• Contribute your own ideas, observations and reflections to curriculum planning.
• Work collaboratively with your team to reflect on practice and continually improve.
• Support quality educational practice aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).
• Be an active and valued member of the Perfect Start Capalaba community.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an approved equivalent qualification.
• Has a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
• Believes strong relationships are at the heart of quality early childhood education.
• Sees children as capable, competent and full of potential.
• Is warm, reliable and enthusiastic.
• Enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to a positive team culture.
• Is reflective, open to feedback and interested in continuing to develop professionally.
• Brings kindness, professionalism and a sense of fun to each day.
• Holds, or is willing to obtain, a current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, and required Child Protection training.
