About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cert 3 or Diploma Qualified Educator. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for leading a team of early childhood educators and providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children in our Seville Grove, WA centre.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of an allocated room, ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children
• Collaborate as part of a team of early childhood educators, providing guidance, support and care to children within the service.
• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
• Build strong relationships with children and families, actively communicating with parents about their child's progress
• Ensure all regulatory requirements and company policies are adhered to at all times
• Contribute to the overall continuous improvement of the centre

What we're looking for

• Certificate 3, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Experience (3+ years) working as an educator in a childcare setting
• Thorough knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and national quality standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and co-workers
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Current Police Clearance, Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
