We are looking for an experienced Qualified Electrician to join our growing team.

This is a varied, hands-on role working across commercial, infrastructure, electrical, data and communications projects. You’ll be joining a committed and experienced team that values communication, reliability, safety and getting the job done properly.

About the Role

As a Qualified Electrician, you will work across a broad range of electrical and infrastructure projects, both independently and alongside our Project Managers, Operations team and site crews.

Your work will include electrical installations, switchboard and control panel work, fault finding, maintenance, structured cabling, communications infrastructure and security installations.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Wiring electrical switch panels and control cabinets

• Reading, interpreting and working from electrical plans, drawings, specifications and work packs

• Liaising with Execute team members regarding job functionality, design and installation requirements

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving electrical faults

• Carrying out electrical installations, repairs and maintenance to a high standard

• Building cable networks in accordance with field work packs, plans, materials and testing requirements

• Installing cable infrastructure, including cable trays and associated systems

• Completing structured cabling for commercial fit-outs

• Installing and decommissioning communications and power cabinets

• Completing CCTV, access control and other security installations

• Undertaking maintenance call-outs, fault finding and repairs

• Performing site investigations and identifying practical solutions for clients

• Testing, reviewing and signing off electrical work as appropriate, including Electrical Certificates of Compliance

• Liaising with relevant team members regarding changes or modifications required to equipment, materials or installations

• Working directly with clients to identify and deliver practical, high-quality solutions

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current New Zealand electrical practising licence

• Relevant New Zealand electrical qualification and registration

• Current Electrical Workers Registration Board requirements completed

• A full New Zealand driver licence

• Proven experience working as a qualified electrician

• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider project team

• A strong commitment to health and safety
