  • Track background checks, credentials, training, certifications, and required documentation.
  • Monitor staff schedules, coverage, documentation, and performance.
  • Follow up consistently on incomplete or late documentation.
  • Support EVV compliance and resolution of time-entry/documentation issues.
  • Assist with payroll preparation by ensuring required documentation is complete and approved.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Conduct routine member-chart and service-documentation audits.
  • Monitor compliance with NC Medicaid, LME/MCO, agency, and service requirements.
  • Track authorizations, assessments, reviews, incidents, corrective actions, and other deadlines.
  • Assist with audits, monitoring visits, and accreditation/compliance activities.
  • Participate in QA/QI activities and continuous process improvement.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and protect member information.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or other education/experience meeting applicable NC QP requirements for the services assigned.
  • Must meet applicable North Carolina Qualified Professional requirements for assigned services.
  • Previous experience in NC IDD, behavioral health, Medicaid, or home- and community-based services strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of NC Medicaid documentation, service authorization, person-centered planning, and LME/MCO processes preferred.
  • Strong organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic records, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, EVV, and other technology systems.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability for deadlines and results.
