Claxton combines decades of industry experience, proprietary technology, and exceptional service quality to cut through offshore installation and decommissioning complexity. Globally, we partner with operators and key contractors in conventional energy, decommissioning, and offshore wind, delivering certainty when it matters. Our expert teams anticipate challenges, deliver innovative high-performance solutions, and provide responsive, transparent support at every stage — ensuring seamless project execution and enduring value, throughout the asset lifecycle and across the energy transition.
We are sourcing a Quality Advisor on a full time, permanent basis. Based at our facility in Great Yarmouth, the Quality Advisor is responsible for ensuring quality is effectively monitored, measured, and managed across the business, supporting the delivery of products and services that consistently meet customer, contractual, regulatory and company requirements. Working closely with Project Engineers, Operations, Supply Chain, QA/QC Inspectors and suppliers, the role provides competent quality advice and operational support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring quality requirements are clearly defined, effectively implemented, and independently verified.
The role supports the continued development and implementation of Claxton's Integrated Management System (IMS), promotes continual improvement, manages quality risks, and helps improve customer satisfaction and operational performance.

Project Quality Assurance
Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the Claxton Project Management Procedure, Integrated Management System (IMS), contractual requirements, and applicable customer quality requirements.
Support the development, review, implementation and assurance of Project Quality Plans and Quality Inspection and Test Plans (QITPs), ensuring appropriate stages, acceptance criteria, hold/witness points, and customer notification requirements are identified and effectively implemented.
Review manufacturing documentation, certification requirements, and project quality deliverables to verify appropriate quality controls have been established.
Undertake quality surveillance and periodic assurance checks throughout project execution to verify agreed procedures, processes and quality controls are being effectively applied.

Facilitate Root Cause Analysis and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are identified, implemented, verified, and recorded within the QHSE management system.
Monitor and analyse Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), NCR trends, and quality performance data to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and challenge actions that do not adequately address identified root causes.
Provide regular reports on NCR performance, trends, recurring issues, and lessons learned to support continual improvement and management decision-making.
Communicate relevant quality lessons learned across the business and other Claxton locations where appropriate.
Supplier Quality Assurance
Work with Supply Chain to ensure supplier quality requirements are clearly defined, understood, and communicated.
Provide quality assurance oversight of supplier performance, certification and project deliverables where required.
Support Supply Chain with supplier assessments and vendor audits, participating where technical manufacturing, specification or quality requirements require additional assurance.

Support the resolution of significant supplier quality issues and verify that appropriate corrective actions have been implemented.
Develop effective working relationships with suppliers, customers, third-party inspection organisations, and internal stakeholders to support successful delivery of quality objectives.
Business Quality Support and Compliance
Provide competent quality advice and support to departments on customer requirements, specifications, quality management processes, and company procedures.

Provide quality assurance oversight of inspection, verification, calibration, certification and product control processes through audit, surveillance, and quality performance review.
Liaise with the QC Inspector, Project Engineers, and Operations to ensure inspection and verification activities are aligned with approved QITPs and applicable customer and project requirements.
Provide guidance and escalation support where inspection, calibration, certification, or product conformity issues may affect customer, regulatory, contractual or project requirements.
Undertake independent quality surveillance or verification where additional assurance is required, without assuming routine QC inspection responsibilities.
