QUALITY ANALYST

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate software functionality.

• Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance concerns.

• Utilize automated testing suites to streamline testing processes and ensure thorough coverage.

• Maintain and enhance automated test scripts to align with evolving software features.

• Use tools like Xray for JIRA to manage test cases, defects, and reporting.

• Track and document bugs, test results, and metrics effectively.

• Conduct performance testing to ensure applications meet scalability and reliability requirements.

• Perform security testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.

• Work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.

• Communicate findings clearly and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.

• Identify areas for improvement in testing methodologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance quality assurance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role.

• Experience with automated testing suites is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with tools like Xray for JIRA for test case and defect management.

• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Understanding of software development life cycles and testing processes.

• Hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks.
