Quality Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Analyst to thoroughly test technology solutions and ensure they meet business and technical expectations. The role involves collaborating with technical and functional teams to understand detailed requirements and translate them into well-defined test scenarios and test cases. The analyst will support all testing phases, including SIT, UAT, and IDT, while participating in Defect Triage calls to drive timely issue resolution.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in testing critical applications.
• Strong experience in end-to-end functional testing;
• Hands-on experience in regression testing;
• Experience with non-functional testing;
• Experience in manual testing and initial bug triage;
• Strong experience supporting critical application workloads on AWS Cloud;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical leaders.

Desired Skill-set

• CTFL (Testers Certification) or any related testing certification is preferred;
• Automation testing experience using SmartBear or related tools is a plus;
• Experience working with critical applications and complex testing environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end functional testing, regression testing, and non-functional testing;
• Collaborate with Technical Leads and technical/functional teams to understand requirements and perform testing;
• Translate business and technical requirements into well-defined test scenarios and test cases;
• Support SIT, UAT, and IDT testing phases;
• Communicate test data requirements and coordinate environment readiness for testing;
• Perform manual testing and initial bug triage;
• Participate in Defect Triage calls and work with developers and stakeholders to drive issue resolution;
• Coordinate with developers, business users, test managers, and project managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage;
• Track testing progress, defects, quality metrics, and provide regular testing status updates;
• Maintain clear and accurate testing documentation;
• Prepare test evidence and test reports;
• Ensure timely defect turnaround and adherence to project timelines.
