Quality Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in test case design, defect tracking, automation frameworks, and API testing, with the ability to collaborate closely with developers and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web applications, including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Design, develop, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Identify, document, track, and retest bugs using tools such as Jira or other bug-tracking systems.
• Conduct cross-browser, UI, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Execute regression tests after bug fixes and new feature releases.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide regular QA status updates.
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to improving QA processes.
• Ensure applications meet quality standards before deployment.

Required Skills

• 2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience writing automation scripts using Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Understanding of SQL queries and database testing.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
