About the Role
Quantum Tech Inc. is seeking a QA Engineer / Software Tester with experience in manual and automation testing. You will work with development and product teams to ensure applications are reliable, functional, and meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Perform API and database testing
- Validate application functionality across web and enterprise platforms
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and release validation
- Support production testing and troubleshooting when required
Required Skills
QA Engineer should have strong experience in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, Selenium, API Testing, SQL, test case development, defect management, regression testing, and SDLC/STLC , along with good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills
Preferred experience includes Java/Python/C#, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, REST Assured, Jira, TestRail, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, AWS/Azure, performance testing, and mobile application testing .
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of QA / Software Testing experience
Candidates with strong hands-on testing experience in either Manual QA, Automation QA, or a combination of both are encouraged to apply.
