Quality Analyst (Data-Focused)

About the role

We are looking for a Power BI UAT & QA Specialist to support the quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and production rollout of business intelligence solutions. You will be responsible for validating three Power BI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, KPI calculations, report functionality, and alignment with business requirements. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the UAT, go-live, and post-implementation phases. The role also includes delivering Power BI training and knowledge transfer to business users to support successful adoption of the dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage the UAT scope, approach, and execution plan
• Develop detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test execution plans
• Coordinate UAT activities with business stakeholders
• Track, document, and follow up on defects through to resolution
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing where required
• Prepare UAT execution reports and communicate testing progress and results
• Perform QA and validation for three Power BI dashboards, verifying data accuracy and completeness, KPI calculations, filters and report functionality, business logic, and alignment with business requirements
• Validate dashboard usability and performance
• Support production deployment and go-live activities, conduct final validation and readiness checks before release
• Develop and deliver Power BI training sessions for business users and prepare training materials, user guides, and supporting documentation

About you

• Strong experience in Testing, QA, and UAT management
• Proven experience testing and validating Power BI dashboards
• Good understanding of analytics and data reporting solutions
• Experience with data accuracy, KPI calculation, and dashboard validation
• Experience supporting production deployments and go-live activities
• Strong defect tracking and issue management experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience preparing and delivering end-user training
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams
