Quality & Delivery Engineer

SustainGRC is governance intelligence infrastructure for non-financial data. We hold risk, internal audit, compliance, resilience, board governance, AI governance and sustainability on a single data model.

Our customers are enterprises and sovereign entities across EMEA and the GCC. When a regulator asks them to defend a number, our platform makes it defensible. Quality is therefore the product.

The role

You will own whether our releases are ready to ship and whether the work reaches release on time. You will build the automated test suite that gates every merge, run the sprint process in Jira, and report to the CEO each week on quality and delivery.

This is a founding-team role. You will set the quality standard, not inherit one.

What you'll own

• Test automation with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG and Cucumber (BDD), integrated into CI so failures block merges
• Manual testing: test design, exploratory, regression and UAT, with defects tracked to closure
• API testing across module contracts
• Sprint planning, task tracking and release readiness in Jira
• Tests for what matters most: tenant isolation, audit records and human confirmation of AI output
• Tech meetings, defect triage and a weekly one-page report to leadership

What you'll bring

• 3+ years in software QA, with hands-on automation in Selenium, TestNG and Cucumber
• Strong manual testing and defect management
• API testing with Postman or Rest Assured
• Jira experience beyond ticket updates: boards, workflows and sprint reporting
• Clear written English and confidence reporting to senior leaders
• An ownership mindset in an early-stage team

Nice to have

• Enterprise, ERP or regulated-industry platforms
• CI/CD experience and SQL for data validation
• Playwright or TypeScript exposure
