Quality & Testing Manager

We're looking for an experienced Quality & Testing Manager to lead our quality assurance and laboratory testing functions, ensuring every product we bring to market meets the highest standards of quality, safety and performance. Based in Prestons , this is a unique opportunity to shape quality outcomes across Australia, New Zealand and our international supply network.

This is more than a quality role. You'll bring together supplier quality, laboratory testing and continuous improvement under one strategic leadership position. You'll play a key role in protecting our brands, improving customer outcomes and building quality systems that support both traditional and connected products.

What you'll be doing

• Leading GWA's Quality Assurance and Laboratory Testing teams.
• Driving supplier quality performance across our international sourcing network.
• Reducing defects, warranty claims and customer complaints through robust quality systems and preventative measures.
• Overseeing product testing programs supporting new product development, certification and ongoing production verification.
• Using data and root cause analysis to identify issues and drive meaningful improvement.
• Building capability across quality, testing, connected product performance and system-level risk management. Leading and developing a geographically dispersed team across Australia, New Zealand and China.

About you

You'll be a commercially minded Quality leader who enjoys solving complex problems and influencing outcomes across multiple stakeholders.

You'll bring:

• Significant leadership experience in quality within manufacturing, building products, consumer durables or a similarly regulated environment.
• Strong expertise in quality management systems, supplier quality, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing laboratory or testing operations, including accreditation and calibration requirements.
• The ability to translate technical quality data into clear business recommendations.
• Experience working with international suppliers, ideally across China and Southeast Asia.
• A degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical field, with quality auditing or Six Sigma certifications highly regarded.
