Job Title: Quality Assistant

Job Purpose: Support the site Quality & Food Safety Management System in compliance with all Legal and customer requirements.

Reporting to: Site Quality Manager

Location: Tipperary Town, Co. Tipperary

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:

• Complete Customer Questionnaires and Approval Documentation as required.
• Manage the Foods Connected specification management system in consultation with the Site Quality Manager for the products in your assigned department.
• Manage the Site Finished Product Specification register and Specification review process and approval in consultation with the Quality Manager for the products in your assigned department.
• Conduct Internal Audits and Traceability audits as part of the site Audit Team.
• Conduct Hygiene & systems audits as per the site schedule.
• Conduct Glass & Perspex audits as defined on the Schedule.
• Support NCR investigations and monitor implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
• Conduct investigations on Quality and Food Safety issues as required and co-ordinate sampling, testing and results evaluation for the investigation.
• Attend and present at meetings as required.
• Support the Site Quality and Operations Team and deputies for your colleagues on the Quality & Food Safety team as required.

Qualifications required for this role:

• Third level degree in Dairy/Food Science or equivalent.

Additional Role Requirements:

• This role requires travel to other ArraTipp sites
