Quality Assurance Analyst

About the role

QA Analyst - Micro position reporting to QA Supervisor. The role involves performing microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process, water, ingredients, packaging materials and finished goods according to plan.

Key responsibilities

• Timely reporting of issues and concerns encountered that may affect food safety and quality
• Perform microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process, water, ingredients as well as packaging materials and finished goods according to plan
• Responsible for media preparation of reagent needed for micro analyses
• Responsible for the sterilization of glassware, media, reagent and other equipment for micro analyses
• Responsible for conducting equipment and personnel swab as well as air sampling test
• Responsible for inventory and maintenance of glass wares and all micro laboratory equipment and reagents
• Responsible for temperature monitoring of Micro Incubator, Micro Refrigerator and Freezer
• Commitment and compliance in the food safety and quality policy of Foodcrafters, Inc.

About you

• Bachelor of Science graduate (Engineering courses, Chemistry, Food Technology, Microbiology or equivalent)
• Two (2) to five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar position in the food industry sector-food manufacturing plant
